The fruit processing plant at MFPL is Completely automated and PLC operated Fruits are washed by water jets in a water tank and carried on by a roller conveyor to the inspection area, where unwanted fruits are removed. The fruits are then passed through scalder and De bitter at 70 deg C. This removes the alge from the skin of the fruits. These fruits are again inspected and damaged fruit parts and stems are removed. The elevator, then carries the fruit to the de stoner feeder. The de stoner removes the seed and a major portion of the skin. The pulp is then heated at 70-75 deg in pre heater than The pulp is passed to Turbo refiners , than to high speed centri fuge than to vacuum tank , than to Homoginizer than to steriliser Finally to the aseptic filler.

Whole process is monitered by quality experts and on line quality checks are carried out through out processing.
